Nikki Haley’s Israeli Bomb Message Sparks Outrage

( – Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (R) traveled to Israel over the Memorial Day weekend. She posted pictures of herself visiting Kibbutz Nir Oz, one of the sites Hamas attacked on October 7. But that visit and posting wasn’t what outraged many — it was what she wrote on an Israeli bomb.

On May 28, Israeli Knesset member Danny Danon posted pictures of Haley signing an artillery shell with the message, “Finish Them! America [Heart drawing] Israel.” Danon said that was what his “friend, the former ambassador,” wrote today on a shell posted at the northern border. Co-director of Standing Together, Alon-Lee Green, called what Haley wrote “disgusting” and asked the US to “take her back.” Green said she was a “filthy death-promoting politician.”

Dr. Omar Suleiman also responded on social media, highlighting the timing of Haley’s “love note.” He noted that her message was written at a time when people in the US and around the world were watching “Israel burn Gaza alive, and Palestinian children are beheaded.”

Suleiman said her actions were a “moral depravity.” Former Human Rights Watch executive director Kenneth Roth said Haley was showing everyone exactly who she is, and actor John Cusack said, “Anyone who signs a bomb is a sociopath.”

Haley hasn’t publicly responded to the outcry or given any type of explanation as to why she signed the bomb the way she did. Her posts from the visit centered around the destruction in Kibbutz Nir Oz. She said America needs to support Israel in whatever way it can and “stop telling them how to fight this war.”

Meanwhile, Americans all over the US have been protesting the killing in the Gaza Strip, which recently topped 35,000 since October 7. The focus of the protestors and the US government now seems to be on Rafah, where Palestinians are taking shelter. President Joe Biden has urged Israel to take protective measures to minimize civilian casualties in the region.
