(LibertySons.org) – Cole Brings Plenty was known for his work in 1923, where he played Pete Plenty Clouds. The show is a spin-off of the hit Yellowstone, which airs on the Paramount network. Sadly, the 27-year-old has passed away.
On Friday, April 5, deputies in Johnson County, Kansas, found a deceased man in a wooded area. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement and identified the man as Plenty. According to reports, the actor’s family reported him missing on March 31 after he missed an appointment with his agent.
The actor was allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident before he went missing. However, there’s not much information about what happened. Police only stated that officers responded to a woman screaming for help, and the suspect was gone before they got there.
Plenty’s uncle, Moses J. Brings Plenty, who stars as Mo, the assistant of Thomas Rainwater, on “Yellowstone,” shared a missing poster with his nephew’s information before officers found him. He also said there was “no evidence” to support the claims that he was fleeing law enforcement.
After deputies found Plenty’s body, his uncle shared a statement from his brother, Joe Brings Plenty, Sr., announcing the death of his son. Plenty’s father said he was “deeply saddened to confirm” his son’s death and thanked everyone who helped search for him.
Sebastian Roché, who co-starred with Plenty in “1923,” responded to the family’s statement, saying he was “sorry to hear the tragic news” and was sending his love. Wendy Moniz, who plays Governor Lynelle Perry on “Yellowstone,” told Moses that she was sending the Plenty family her love. Nic Sheridan, the wife of the show’s creator, Taylor Sheridan, said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We love you.”
In another post, the Plenty family asked people to stop selling merchandise with the late actor’s image on it and warned of scammers posing as his uncle on social media to steal money from people.
