Trump Heads Back to DC for the First Time to Headline Event

Trump RETURNS – He’s Refusing To Let Them Win!

( – In an exclusive report, Axios broke the news that former President Donald Trump is heading back to Washington DC for the first time since he left office. The trip will occur on July 26 as the popular leader will appear at an America First Policy Institute (AFPI) event to give the keynote speech on day two of the summit.

The group announced the event and Trump’s attendance on July 14. The gathering will span over two days somewhere within the district. Organizers have yet to release the exact address due to security concerns.

President and CEO Brooke Rollins explained the group would reveal its policy plan to bring the US back to the stable, secure place it was under Trump. The event will also feature talks about energy, inflation, education, border security, and crime, addressing the current issues within each sector.

Throughout the event, leaders and experts will hold presentations and panels. Other top names slated to attend include House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), Past Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R), former Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal (R), and various other Congress members and White House officials from previous administrations. Current AFPI leaders who will present include former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, Civil Rights activist Dr. Alveda King, and retired football coach Lou Holtz.

The former president’s appearance will close out the summit. His presence comes at a time when he is under intense scrutiny from the January 6 committee, while perhaps trying to boost his chances for another run at the White House. A New York Times/Siena College poll shows wavering support from the GOP for Trump’s bid in 2024, with almost half of voters saying they would prefer a different candidate.
