Kamala Harris’ New $500 MILLION Project Is Too Dumb For Words
(LibertySons.org) – The Biden Administration is pushing for a massive overhaul in the United States to make the country greener. After touring a fleet of electric school buses at a Virginia high school on May 20, Vice President Kamala Harris announced the release of the first round of funding from the infrastructure budget to help schools convert to clean energy. She stated that $500 million is ready to go to districts across the nation.

Harris noted school buses are the “largest form of mass transit” in the country. She explained around 95% of those vehicles run on diesel, adding the exhaust is “poison,” increasing cancer risks, leading to headaches, causing nausea, and exacerbating respiratory diseases. The vice president continued to say that health concerns aren’t the only issue. She said diesel leads to carbon dioxide causing greenhouse gas effects and worsening the climate crisis.
Harris explained the investment in new electric buses would help the environment and keep people healthy.
Critics say $500 million will certainly not be enough to convert the whole US school bus fleet. According to Mass Transit Magazine, the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) said it could take tens of billions of dollars to change all buses to electric, and a complete switch will likely require more technological advancements.
