Biden's Whistleblower Is a Fugitive From Justice

( – Kentucky Republican and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer made a tough admission on May 14. He and fellow GOP investigators “lost” a key informant in the case they were building against the Biden family’s alleged involvement in a long-term influence-peddling scheme. On May 31, a news report indicated Dr. Gal Luft, a former Lt. Col. in the Israeli Defense Force, sefl-identified as the informant but claimed Interpol and the US Department of Justice forced him to become a fugitive rather than face fabricated arms dealing, and Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) charges in US courts.

The gist of Comer’s allegations lay in transactions paid to members of the Biden family between August 2017 and October 2018 by the US branch of the China Energy Fund Committee (CEFC-USA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit arm of the Chinses energy giant CEFC, reportedly totaling $4.8 million. Between 2015 and 2018, Luft also worked closely with the US branch of CEFC-USA through his company, the Institute for Analysis of Global Security (IAGS), an energy security and diplomatic consulting firm.

Luft and his attorney, Robert Henoch, claim they met with FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) officials in Brussels, Belgium, in March 2019 to inform them about information CEFC officials shared with him accusing someone of selling “sealed US law enforcement information” to Chinese government officials. He also reportedly relayed intelligence about a federal agent acting as a mole for the Biden family who used the handle “One-Eye.” Luft claimed the sleeper agent told the Bidens and their primary CEFC-USA contact that the FBI was investigating him.

Despite American promises to investigate, Luft heard nothing back. Then, just as House Republicans were firing up investigations, Luft claims police arrested him on arms charges, the FARA charge, and making a false statement to federal investigators on February 18. Henoch claims the Biden administration and the DOJ used their power to punish his client for coming forward as a whistleblower in 2019.

A Cypriot judge granted Luft bail in March, and he disappeared on March 28. He kept his location secret when he spoke with New York Post’s Devine. He said he felt his chances of receiving “a fair trial” in Washington, DC, were “virtually zero.”
