Biden Claims Voter Concern Over Age Is Founded
(LibertySons.org) – On October 23, MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart interviewed President Joe Biden. During their talk, the reporter asked the Commander in Chief about concerns voters might have about his age and fitness to run for office again in 2024. Biden called it a “totally legitimate” question.
President Joe Biden joked that it's difficult acknowledging he's about to turn 80, but said he's physically and mentally capable of serving a potential second term in the White House. https://t.co/oJ5fbniyHU

The president explained he understood Americans’ worries about him approaching his 80s. He explained people should judge him on his conduct and performance, noting they should consider if he is slowing down or having issues. Biden wants citizens to look at his energy levels and whether he still has the passion for the job.
During the interview, the US leader also stated he’s in good physical and mental health, which reflects in a report from his primary care physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, in November 2021. The doctor called the leader “healthy” and “vigorous.” He also declared the president fit to carry out his duties. Recently, Biden has had some reflux issues and a stiffened gate from a previous injury and a bit of arthritis.
The president suggested that voters should weigh all the information and considerations about his abilities. If they don’t think he can stand up to another four years, then they shouldn’t vote for him.
Biden will turn 80 on November 20, making him 82 years old on Inauguration Day 2025. He has indicated he plans to run again but has not formally declared his intentions. He does, however, believe he’s up to the task.
