(LibertySons.org) – Americans keep waking up to gas prices that continue to rise. They’ve looked to the White House for help, asking leaders to step in. Despite the pleas, President Joe Biden isn’t offering much hope. The president said on March 8 that he “can’t do much” about the increased price of fuel. He said the cost will continue to rise and pushed the blame for the situation onto Russia while taking no responsibility for the problem.
Pres. Biden responded to a question on gas prices as he arrived in Fort Worth, Texas, saying, "they're gonna go up."

In response, some members of Congress offered up ideas of ways Biden could help bring fuel expenses down. Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) suggested he take a look at repealing his energy policies. Representative Ronny Jackson (R-TX) said Biden should increase American production. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) pointed to the Keystone XL Pipeline Biden shut down as soon as he took office as an option for opening US energy resources.
Others on social media criticized him for passing the buck to Russia when prices were already rising before the Ukraine situation. Political strategist Erin Perrine tweeted that Biden’s quip about not being able to do anything will become a quote in political ads for the midterms.

President Biden may want to reconsider his stance. There are many suggestions he can choose from to at least try to give Americans relief at the pump.
